2021.09.20 09:43 Wowufuh Looking for ideas for whole seabass

My mother brought me the most beautiful whole seabass, they're not too large (one could just about serve 2 people) but they smell of the sea and are wonderfully fresh. Seabass has been one of my favourite fish for the longest time but I've always just ordered it at restaurants. This is my first time cooking a fish whole as opposed to getting fillets. I was thinking of grilling it but I'm looking for ideas and maybe a bit of guidance?
From some searching online I've seen suggestions that grilling it in cast iron would be a good, but not sure if I need to prep the fish any differently for that? I also like the idea of grilling it with aromatics because I have it in mind to make something fresh and fragrant as opposed to spicy/saucy. I would love to get any recipe ideas! :)

Sorry if this has been raised before - has anyone figured out or listed all the secret ‘?’ locations you get from persuading NPC’s? I’ve found maybe… 10? But I can’t find anything online around how many there are, and which specific NPC’s to ask. It appears purely random.

2021.09.20 09:43 TRSHUSK The games been out for 2½ years, please, make a latin American Spanish dub.

You'll see. The game is only dubbed to Spain's Spanish. It's not like english were all the legends have different accents, in spanish all the legends talk the same.
Here in LatAm we talk very differently from Spaniards (not just Slang but the way we both structure and conjugate verbs too). Yeah we can understand it but it really feels weird and annoying, specially knowing we have talented VAs and companies that do a good job dubbing games.
I hope you at least consider doing it with one legend, even Loba talks like a Spaniard...

2021.09.20 09:43 amishyoga347 Hornet/wasp issue. They are all flying outside but I can’t find a nest.

I live in Upper Michigan and have hornets/wasps flying all around my house but I can’t seem to find a nest. My fear is that maybe it is in my house but like the attic or in between walls or something.
I’m aware wasps and hornets are different but I can’t figure out the species since they are always flying. I also think I have more than one species since some are yellow and some are black (I think yellow jacket and mud dauber since I had both types of nests before, or something similar to both since that is the different type of bodies they have)
I can always see them flying but never see them enter my home anywhere to tell where they may be.
With the amount that I have flying outside, I’m afraid of how many may be in my attic an when the best time would be to look. I know at dusk or dawn is best but the way to my attic is in my bedroom and I am afraid of potentially unleashing them into my bedroom.

2021.09.20 09:43 palm_treezzz Ghosting, and your thoughts I guess

So to understand Id like to mention this is freshman year of highschool. One of my childhood friends dies, it happens ik ik but its important to the story. So after this I just stay home for about 2 weeks I think. Then when I come back my girlfriend at the time, asks me this "when will you kiss me again?". I felt bad cause maybe it was a joke and I took it too seriously. But after that I just stopped talking. I still hung out with her for a few more days, but she kept asking the same question. I just felt hurt. And I didnt know how to handle it. So I didnt handle it, I just ignored her. Flat out pretended she wasnt even there in person. Blocked her without a word on media. Then I had to switch schools cause I started failing everything. To this day I still feel guilty for doing that to her. Cause even if she didnt care about me, that must have hurt her you know? I promise myself ill never ghost again even if its extreme like this. i kinda already know I am the asshole here, I just wanted to hear other peoples thoughts and have some reassurance.

2021.09.20 09:43 Aurinne Hell Reruns - short list of when hell events last ran

Just thought I'd compile a little list of hells that are due for a second or third run to help us be a little prepared.
🔸️ 2020 🔸️

🔹️ 2021 🔹️
🎵 EXTRA (not true hell events, number of returns unknown):
The second run of an event tends to be slightly less than a year after its first run (although this is not true 100% of the time!).
The third run of an event tends to be looselt a year after its 2nd run, but there is more variability in this so it is harder to predict.
We would assume Night of Starfall only has three runs of it wasn't for Miracle Concert's surprise 4th run...
Predicting anything to do with LN is unreliable...🤷‍♀️

2021.09.20 09:43 yokesh351 Uniswap: Ethereum-based decentralized exchange

Currently one of the hottest trends in the industry cryptocurrency, have been the DeFi projects and protocols for decentralized finance. The core of the DeFi concept is the decentralized ability to exchange, invest, and lend, unimpeded in practice. In addition, it has a completely democratic structure, with full control of the funds, which are not entrusted to specific people, but to smart contracts and algorithms. And, one of the most interesting projects in this field is Uniswap development.
For a long time, cryptocurrency trading was dominated by centralized exchanges. They offered a fast operation, with a large volume of operations and, above all, with great liquidity. But they also had downsides, which is why the idea of decentralized finance, which works through automated protocols and smart contracts, soon began to gain popularity. This is how decentralized exchanges appeared - DEX.
What is Uniswap? Uniswap is an open-source protocol built on top of the Ethereum blockchain development, which provides a unique solution to simplify the process of exchanging ERC-20 tokens (Ethereum standard token) without centralized third parties. This means that users manage their funds on their own and are not dependent on any centralized resource. Also, Uniswap provides a series of services on Ethereum so that users can manage their transactions and exchanges without the need for central control.
In other words, Uniswap is a decentralized exchange based on Ethereum that allows anyone to exchange their ERC-20 tokens with each other. Anyone can do this, and for transactions, you don't need registration, identity verification, and other things that are generally required by the exchange. Uniswap was created to address the liquidity problem that mainstream cryptocurrency exchanges face. Liquidity itself is the ability to sell any stock of coins on the platform without significantly affecting the price.
Let's say you want to buy 100 ETH at $ 400. You do this by placing a buy order, after which the exchange begins looking for ETH sell orders for $ 400 or less. If the volume of sell orders exceeds the required amount of 100 ETH, the order is filled and the coins are sold. If there are too few sellers, that is, there is not enough liquidity, the order is not executed, as there are not enough response orders.
How does it originate? Uniswap was born as a project designed to offer two functions: first, to serve as a DEX within the Ethereum ecosystem. And secondly, to serve as an automated liquidity protocol (automated market maker or AMM). The fact that Uniswap relies on Ethereum and its smart contacts to achieve this ensures that no centralization is required for its operation. It also integrates with a large number of ERC-20 tokens out there. Uniswap is a completely autonomous system with its own programming, which is transparent and immutable.
The beginnings of the project are quite unique because it all started with a series of posts created by Vitalik Buterin in 2017. The first one was on Reddit, where Buterin envisioned the ability to create DEX on Ethereum. In fact, this first publication was the trigger for several projects of this type. Later in 2018, Buterin flaunted his insights again in another post aimed at decentralized market makers. At this point, Hayden Adams published his idea, showing what his first contract was for Uniswap.
Hayden Adams, a former Siemens mechanical engineer, took the idea from Vitalik Buterin and began developing a fully functional platform: Uniswap. Shortly after launching the idea, the project received some grants and a hundred thousand dollars from the Ethereum Foundation. The first version was officially released in November 2018. Subsequently, in April 2019, Paradigm (a digital asset investment company) contributed $ 1 million for the further development of Uniswap.
On what do you base its operation? When a protocol works with a decentralized mechanism, there is no order book for traders. To provide the necessary tokens for exchanges liquidity is needed. Uniswap works on this basis. Remember that Uniswap is an automated liquidity registry. In practice, this means that there are smart contract models that define a standard method for making liquidity funds and corresponding markets compatible with each other. There is no order book, no centralized party, and no central trading intermediary.
Uniswap's most significant difference from other decentralized exchanges is the use of a valuation mechanism called the “Permanent Product Market Making Model ”. We can add any ERC20 token to the exchange, providing you with the equivalent ETH value and the ERC20 token that is being traded. This process is called “adding fluidity” and the person who performs it is called “Liquidity Provider (LP)”. Once we do this, we receive a portion of the fees generated by the users who exchange the token.
Instead of linking buyers and sellers to determine the transaction rate, Uniswap uses the fixed equation X * Y = K. Where X and Y represent the number of ETH and ERC20 tokens available in the liquidity pool, and K is security constant. This equation uses the balance between ETH and ERC20 tokens, and supply and demand, to determine the price of a specific token. Basically, Uniswap balances the value of the tokens to exchange them based on the number of people who want to buy and sell.
Much more than a DEX Uniswap (UNI) in the world of cryptocurrencies and decentralized exchange made a name for itself, especially in the wake of the hype about decentralized financial services (DeFi) in 2020. Uniswap is not a separate project on its own chain of blocks, rather it is a decentralized application (dApp) on the Ethereum platform. In essence, Uniswap sees itself as a decentralized trading platform that allows the exchange of Ether (ETH) for a large number of ERC-20 tokens.
While many other DEXs (decentralized exchanges) struggle with not being user-friendly, expensive, and risky, Uniswap has been able to eliminate all of these problems in the bud. Uniswap is a protocol on Ethereum for exchanging ERC20 tokens and is designed for the community to exchange tokens without platform fees or intermediaries. Provides liquidity using a simple mathematical equation and a pool of tokens without the need to match buyers and sellers.
Furthermore, it is one of the largest decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain. The benefits that helped Uniswap succeed in record time are easy to tell. Easy to use operation and integration of an external wallet (eg MetaMask), full control over your own private keys, low fees, and comparatively high liquidity (in contrast to many other DEXs). Unlike most exchanges, which are designed to collect fees, Uniswap is designed to function as a public good.
Advantages and disadvantages of this protocol The Uniswap protocol among the advantages it presents is self-storage, which allows total control over personal funds . Therefore, the risk associated with centralized exchanges, where they can lose funds if the exchange is hacked or bankrupt, is completely absent. Since users are in full control of their funds, you don't need to go through the KYC procedure and reveal your name, passport details, etc. This means that it is much faster to start using the exchange .
Additionally , the likelihood of personal information falling into the wrong hands if the exchange is hacked is significantly reduced . Another advantage of Uniswap is the low fees it handles . Uniswap charges a flat fee of 0.3% per trade. It is significantly cheaper than most decentralized exchanges. Because Uniswap is decentralized and gaining popularity among the community, many companies choose to launch their projects directly on Uniswap. Therefore, Uniswap users can access new tokens before others.
Among the disadvantages that Uniswap presents we can mention:
